I am Daniel Steven, an independent creative developer and software engineer based in Jakarta, Indonesia (WIB / UTC+7). I build immersive, animated websites and robust full-stack applications for startups, agencies, digital products, and enterprise teams globally.
My playground: real-time 3D with WebGL and Three.js, kinetic scroll animations with GSAP and Lenis, high-efficiency App Router architecture with Next.js and TypeScript, and deeply integrated Indonesian backend services (payment gateways, logistics, automated notifications).

What is a Creative Developer?
A creative developer works where design meets code. They build interactive, animated, and often 3D web experiences where motion and interaction are fundamental parts of the message.
Compared with a Traditional Front-End Developer
A standard front-end developer builds reliable functional interfaces: forms, dashboards, and CRUD tables. A creative developer starts from the exact same foundations (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React), but specializes in what users perceive emotionally: real-time GPU rendering, fluid kinetic motion, and tactile response.
Compared with a Designer
The designer imagines the experience and creates static Figma mockups. The creative developer makes it real inside the browser: tuning easing curves, writing custom shaders, optimizing 60-120 FPS framerates, and making the design feel natural on every device from high-end desktops to mobile screens.

From Your Mockups
I start directly from your designer’s Figma mockups and build them into code with all animations included. Design remains their craft; mine is to bring it alive in the browser.
