Technical Architecture & Solution

A hybrid desktop application engineered with Tauri (Rust core) and React frontend, utilizing CRDT (Conflict-free Replicated Data Types) for seamless eventual consistency upon reconnection.

Key Architectural Decisions

Offline-First Storage: Local SQLite database accessed through synchronous Rust IPC, backed by client-side IndexedDB for rich attachments.
Binary Memory Footprint: Over 10x smaller RAM usage compared to conventional Electron-based counterparts.
Cryptographic Vault: AES-256-GCM local database encryption with OS-level keychain password storage.
